Year 7 Exploratory Subjects
Throughout Year 7 the students rotate through 8 different Exploratory subjects, studying two a term. The Secondary College offers 10 different Exploratory subjects. These Exploratory subjects are a ‘taste tester’ for subjects offered in future years. Students will be required to de-select the 2 subjects they would prefer not to study.
Please note: Although every effort will be made to give students their first preferences and not their de-selected subjects, due to class sizes, popularity of subjects and teacher availability, it doesn’t guarantee they will receive all their choices and will still enjoy a variety of new learning experiences across the year. Students will also have the opportunity to explore those subjects they miss out on in Grades 8 & 9.
